Remember Luxemburg-Liebknecht in Berlin this sunday
The Party of the European Left will get together during this Sunday, in Berlin, for the traditional commemoration of Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht at the cemetery of Berlin-Friedrichsfelde.
The silent tribute will start at 9:00 and will be attended by the Federal Committee of the party Die Linke, members of the board of the European Left and members of the European and National Parliament. Afterwards, the ceremony will continue until the river where people be leaving flowers on the public sidewalk where the bodies of the two proletarian revolution leaders were thrown in 1919.
In the afternoon, a cultural and political event Rage Against Capitalist Machine will take place, counting with the contributions of Pierre Laurent, the newly elected chairman of the European Left Party, Oskar Lafontaine and, Jean Luc Mélenchon, with the moderation of Diether Dehm.
The welcome speeches will be done by Gesine Lötzsch and Klaus Ernst, and during the afternoon, there will be musical contributions from several European musicians as Kostas Papanastasiou ("TerzoMondo"), Diether Dehm, Andrea Rivera, Aurora Lacasa, Geier Sturzflug and Gebruder Engel.
The event will take place in KOSMOS Karl-Marx-Allee 131a from 3 pm.
