F-16 fighter jet videos show "collateral damages" of the bombing in Libya
The Standard, online Belgian newspaper, has posted videos of F-16 fighter jets in action over Libya, bombing buildings and planes at a regime-controlled airfield. The Pentagon has confirmed that Belgian F-16 are taking part on last attacks, with Danish, Canadian and American planes, and have bombarded Mizdah, a town of 23,000 inhabitants located 180 km south of Tripoli. Asked by the agency Belga, the Ministry of Defence declined to confirm or deny this information, in the name of the "secret" operations conducted by the Belgian military forces in NATO operations in Libya.
The “clean” and “humanitarian” operation, as it was described by the organization officials that started with the no-fly zone have caused substantial "collateral damages" with the explosion of several buildings in an area over 15 miles away.
On "Libya Live Blog" of Al-Jazeera, dated March 29, there are several photos of Reuters showing the damage caused by the explosion inside a hospital in Mizdah (see below), but the authorities insist in not confirming its veracity.
